My main career has been in writing but I've become increasingly focused on supporting others and exploring ways we can all become more self-aware and make positive changes. In my early thirties, I trained as a person-centred counsellor and for almost two years, I worked one day a week as a volunteer counsellor at an addiction centre, a powerful and humbling learning experience. In 2017, I began training as a Priestess of Rhiannon with the amazing Katinka Soetens at the Magdalene Mystery School in Glastonbury - an experiential course centred around becoming more conscious, open and loving. In my own life, I've always tried to face up to challenges, learn the lessons and find meaning from tough times. I'm passionate about anything that supports people with kindness and compassion.

I believe in the healing power of humour (black where appropriate), cooking, music, amazing literature, growing things, cuddling animals and focusing on all the good stuff in people.
